MAX Analytical Technologies FTIR Measurement Instruments
East Windsor, CT (April 13, 2017) – Prism Analytical Technologies, Inc. (“Prism”) is pleased to announce that it has completed a divestiture of assets located in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. The Air Laboratory business, FTIR Field and Support business, and Prism name were sold to Montrose Environmental Group, Inc. (“Montrose”). Prism will change its name to MAX Analytical Technologies (“MAX Analytical”) and retain assets relating to its chemical instrumentation business headquartered in East Windsor, CT.
The new MAX Analytical Technologies name is a combination of Prism Analytical Technologies and MAX™, the company’s disruptive technology that leads a diverse line-up of FTIR and GC-FTIR products.
Martin L. Spartz, Ph.D., co-owner and CTO of MAX Analytical, stated, “With the new structure, we have positioned MAX Analytical for faster development of our MAX™ and associated technologies, and we look forward to working closely with Montrose, a leader in environmental testing.”
